Surrounded by fields and natural beauty in an elevated position in the picturesque Tanat Valley, this spacious cottage is in a perfect location to relax and explore Mid Wales and the Shropshire borders. Discover the Tanat Valley, Ceiriog Valley and Shropshire Hills, including the 177 miles of Offa’s Dyke. Within 14 miles and all worth a visit are Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall, the dramatic 240-foot waterfall, Lake Vyrnwy, Bala Lake, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, and the National Trust castles of Chirk and Powis. Alternatively, hop onto a steam train at Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway or visit the market town of Oswestry (12 miles) with its range of shops, eateries and events to enjoy.

This stylish bungalow is a real home from home and is furnished with thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay. Walk into the utility area which houses the washing machine and has plenty of space for your outdoor attire. Straight ahead is the stylish kitchen. If you decide to eat in, this area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and a TV to keep the chef entertained. Once the meal is ready, enjoy time together in the separate dining room where there’s plenty of space for everyone to gather around the dining table, which is perfectly positioned by the window with countryside views. After dinner, relax in the lounge with its comfortable sofas, Smart TV and a wood burner for cosy nights in. There are three stunning bedrooms to choose from: a king-size with an en-suite shower and WC, the double or the twin. Take a leisurely start to the day in the lovely bathroom with a freestanding bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. The house is in an elevated position with far-reaching rural views perfect to enjoy fabulous views from sunrise to sunset and dine alfresco on the patio.

This bungalow is in such an amazing setting on a dairy farm with spectacular views. We spent a long weekend if this well stocked, clean and comfortable house. Lots to see and do nearby. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful bungalow felt at home as soon as we arrived. Perfect location to explore the area. The weather was against us to do much. However the comforts and the stunning views made the weather not an issue for us. We would love to return again and if the weather was good believe that we would still be happy to remain close by as already stated the Read moreviews from the bungalow and gardens would be hard to be dragged away from as they are truly stunning. A very well equipped, large bungalow adjacent to a working diary farm. Really enjoyed our stay with so many great places to visit close by. Llanheadr-ym-Mochnant is close enough, and well enough serviced, for the cottage to be quiet and tranquil without feeling isolated.

This property had such a feeling of calm that by the time we went home we were stress free. Its clean, beautiful, has everything you need and countryside all round and has lovely hosts. This is definitely the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few over the years.

Can't rate this cottage highly enough. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything you could need. There is plenty of room for parking. The area was peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views from the cottage. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Glanderwen cottage. The house is well equipped with everything you need, with lots of space and storage in each bedroom. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals for the group and socialising. The owners were so lovely and helpful, even providing us with welcome gifts and a bottle of New Year fizz!

Amazing.This is a lovely place to stay if you enjoy the great outdoors and wow Wales is great or just want to sit and relax and take in the wonderful views. The owners were on hand if needed but by no means intrusive. The welcome gifts were much appreciated. Finally..100% we will return.

Lovely and spacious with really comfortable beds. Great range of places to eat in, whether at breakfast bar, around dining table or outside on patio. Excellent location with plenty of options for walking or sightseeing and good local shops. Good welcome with bottle of wine and lovely sponge cake and tea and coffee. Decided to eat cake and wine!

A lovely spacious bungalow next to the family farm but away from the road. Nice garden to sit in with a lovely view across the valley. Well equipped and very comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. You can get to most areas of interest in about half an hour. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage.
