Morfa Nefyn Holidays |

Choose from a variety of accommodation to suit your stay

Morfa Nefyn lies on the beautiful area of outstanding national beauty that is the Llyn Peninsula, which sticks out of the North West corner of Wales. This small village is small and quiet and until recently unheard of as a holiday destination. Yet Morfa Nefyn is growing in popularity as a greater number of people discover the charm, quaintness, and attractiveness of the village and the surrounding area.

By staying at Morfa Nefyn, holidaymakers can simply get away from it all by spending some quality time in the village itself, or they can make the most of the countryside, exploring the hills, beaches and caves that the Peninsula has to offer. Although a small village, everything needed to live in Morfa Nefyn for a short period can be found here. For those making the most of the hotels in the area then the shops and pubs offer snacks and drinks to enjoy inbetween meal times and for those using our self-catering cottages then pub meals by the sea front are welcoming nights out between cooking meals in your own private kitchen. If need be larger towns offering more commercial chains can be found less than ten miles down the road.

The beach is the main attraction for Morfa Nefyn holidays; the beach is sandy but slightly pebbly and stretches to the picturesque fishing hamlet of Porthdinllaen, it is perfect for sunbathing, sports and walking along the water’s edge at sunset. The Llyn Coastal path comes past the village, offering scenic routes to walk, run, cycle or horse ride along to find tempting picnic sports.

The village is also right next to the District Golf Club, a big club on a small peninsula of its own surrounded by water on three sides; this makes a stunning place to have a golfing holiday.

Spreading away from Morfa Nefyn the Snowdonia National Park lies to the east with quick access to the Snowdonia Mountain itself, which can be scaled over a full day by foot or by tram. From the top the scenery is outstanding and picture worthy. Moreover, how could we ever forget the rest of the Llyn Peninsula? The beaches to the north are rugged and rocky with hidden coves and life filled rock pools, waiting to be explored by pets on dog friendly holidays. The southern beaches are long, sandy and award winning, ideal for water sports, surfing, swimming and dolphin watching. The land in the middle is green, hilly, woody allowing visitors to loose themselves literally and metaphorically in breathtaking landscape and wildlife.

Whether it is a family break or a romantic holiday for two, Morfa Nefyn offers something for everyone. At Stay In Wales we follow the same principle, that our accommodation should have variety to suit every need.
