The town itself is home to an impressive Norman castle which is surrounded by a large mill pond which makes a lovely backdrop for enjoying relaxing walks, whilst there are also many miles of scenic walks to be enjoyed along the nearby Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which offers an incredible 186 miles of waterside walks. Of course, the coastline is also famous for its stunning beaches, the nearest of which lies just three miles from the property in the village of Freshwater East, where the sheltered bay is home to an expansive stretch of golden sand, perfect for sunbathing, making sandcastles, beach games, and paddling.

On arrival at this property, guests are able to make themselves immediately at home as they enter into a homely kitchen with a dining table in the centre, and a good range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Moving through to the sunny lounge, a light-filled room which offers views over the garden from the large patio doors, and where comfortable seating provides the perfect place to unwind in the evenings in front of the TV/DVD. The property’s shower room offers a walk-in shower with an accessibility chair, and a WC. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, the first of these being a restful king size room, including king size bed , whilst the second is a bright twin.

The property’s garden is accessed through the patio doors in the lounge: a generously-sized, enclosed lawned space which provides guests with plenty of room to relax.

Fantastic base for exploring the area. So many amazing beaches within a 10 to 20 minute drive. Excellently equipped property which is comfortable and clean, a real home from home and perfect for a family like ours with 2 small children as they had plenty of room to play both inside and out as the garden was fab.
