Comfortable family cottage nestled among surrounding fields and woodland, perfectly positioned to relax and unwind.

This complex of beautiful cottages is set above the village of Penclawdd situated on the North Gower coast. Explore the famous beaches of Gower for a day at the seaside, head to Cefn Bryn, famous for Arthurs’s Stone and its stunning hikes, or head to the bustling city of Swansea, just a 30-minute drive away, for a great day out for everyone, with a waterfront museum, marina and plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. The Wales Coast Path is easily accessed from the village providing great access to North Gower. Also, in the surrounding area, is a choice of golf courses: The Gower Golf Club and Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Step inside this comfortable property and immediately feel at home. The open-plan living space allows everybody to socialise together in comfort. The lounge area has comfortable seating, electric fire and TV/DVD for the whole family to relax in front of after a busy day. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up those family favourites with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Heading further into the property, you will find the two ground floor bedrooms: a master double, and a bunk bedroom with full-size beds along with a stable door that opens onto the decked area. Both bedrooms share the shower room with shower and WC.

Head out onto the patio area with garden furniture to enjoy a drink on a warm summer's evening whilst enjoying the stunning views.

A booking system and rota will be present for the shared hot tub, the utility room and the various outdoor games will be available per cottage.

There is off-road parking for one car.

  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Absolutely lovely stay, beautiful surroundings with great access to all the amazing beaches and sites the Gower has to offer. Hosts were brilliant at suggesting exactly where to go whatever the weather and all the facilities, hottub, bbq, kids outdoor play toys were perfect. Thanks so much for making our holiday so lovely.

Clean and very well positioned in a truly beautiful part of Wales. Lyns welcomed us personally and explained how to navigate. The welcome book was informative and we got a.glimpse into our hosts humour. We would give the location and hosts 10 out of 10

Our stay here was delightful. Accommodation was clean, spacious and our hosts were delightful. The hosts provided a detailed list of activities and locations of interest prior to our stay which was so helpful and in addition they were on site to speak to directly. A fantastic place to stay. We had three generations staying and we all had a great time. We ate together every night around the big table. Enjoyed seeing the horses, the hot tub was a hit with the younger members of the family. The facilities were excellent. So much to see in the Gower Peninsula. We could have stayed longer. Lovely welcome from our hosts without being intrusive. This is one of a number of barn conversions which have communal gardens, and a hot tub and barbecue that you can use. A secluded rural location from which you can probably reach anywhere in the Gower within about half an hour.

Comfortable converted former farm building in a glorious setting with open outlook and views. The owners were on hand to greet us and made themselves available during our stay to offer guidance on walks and places to visit which was really helpful. Despite having a private outside space at the rear, the use of a much larger shared rear garden with Read more2 other adjoining cottages was a real bonus. Good local s/market, pubs and takeaways within easy reach meant we didn't need to travel far for supplies Hide

Cottage in lovely rural location within east reach of all main attractions. Well thought out open plan living area, decked area outside back door which was a lovely sun trap!!!
