Superb apartment, the facilitates and location are excellent.. clean , modern, well equipped... we were able to park up the car for the whole stay and just relax and take the dog on many many walks .. the beach is excellent for dogs (albeit they can only go on after the end of September)... the cafe / bar nearby was good, so if you dont feel like cRead moreooking then its only a 3 minute walk. this was our first stay here, i am sure we will be back again soon... Beautiful apartment in an amazing location, would thoroughly recommend it. So peaceful and relaxing looking out towards the courtyard and the historical building. Loved the photo on the wall of The Rest in 1938!

This was a perfect property for our purposes. The location was ideal and the quality of the apartment was very high indeed, modern, clean and the access and parking was fantastic. If we are back in the area in future, we would most definitely book again.

Very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the apartment and equipment levels (really appreciated the microwave!). Apartment location at the end of a courtyard was also excellent including a side seaview from the patio area.

I hadn't realised what a lovely location the Rest occupied, just above Rest Bay and with common land above the cliffs to walk on to Porthcawl. Our apartment was extremely well-equipped and maintained, and other residents were very welcoming. Three of us and our dog had an excellent week's stay here. NB. Over the summer dogs are not allowed on Rest Read moreBay beach, but the cliff top walks and the beach at Newton Bay, just the other side of Porthcawl, gave our dog plenty of scope to enjoy her holiday. We had a brilliant week staying at No 39 - the apartment was perfect for our needs with plenty of space and all the equipment needed. The welcome pack and fizz were much appreciated. Lovely comfy apartment with loads of space. Stayed as a family of four with a dog. Easy access for the beach and great cafe nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely appt. Well located. Everything you need for a relaxing coastal break. Welcome hamper and fizz in the fridge was an unexpected nice surprise. Underfloor heating was a luxury. Everything we needed, even a dog bowl ready for our pooch. Would definitely recommend.
