Access the Wales Coast Path at Llantwit Major (4 miles) which is popular with surfers and fossil hunters. Take a coastal hike or drive east to discover more picturesque beaches such as Dunraven Bay (6.5 miles) and Ogmore-by-Sea (7 miles) where you will also discover ancient castle ruins and some delightful county pubs and restaurants along the way, perfect for a tasty refreshment stop. Enjoy a spot of retail therapy at the very fashionable and popular market town of Cowbridge (4.5 miles), renowned for its boutique shops and a plethora of tasty eateries.
