Picnic above the cottage looking out across to the Black Mountains, or stride out for miles straight from the door. Bike hire easily available too. The cathedral town of Brecon lies in one direction, Crickhowell and foodie haven Abergavenny lies in the other, with bookish Hay on Wye a delight for those who love to spend a day rummaging through bookshops and antique stores.
One of a pair of pretty pink adjoined cottages, converted from the stables of its beautiful parent manor house, there’s an abundance of views, birdsong and country living style from the moment you arrive. Step through the old stable door into open plan living. Put a match to the wood burning stove and relax as it blasts out the heat throughout chillier months.Enjoy lazy breakfasts on the terrace when the sun shines.
