Nestled within a tiny village in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this cottage is perfect for walking, hiking and biking holidays for all the family.

Bosherston may be a tiny village, but it’s the epicentre of the Pembrokeshire climbing scene, with the limestone cliffs crisscrossed by up to a thousand hard climbing routes including some of the most taxing routes in the UK. Explore The National Trust Bosherston Lakes which are three flooded limestone valleys covered with lilies in June and teaming with wildlife. St Govan’s Chapel is another fascinating place to visit, tucked into a cleft in the cliffs. Visit the golden sands of Broad Haven Beach, or enjoy a round at the South Pembrokeshire Golf Club, an 18 hole golf course with amazing views of River Cleddau and surrounding countryside 8 miles away. Just 5 miles away, the charming walled town of Pembroke has a variety of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants.

This traditional holiday cottage, set in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is perfect for family holidays in beautiful countryside close to fantastic beaches and fabulous walks along the coastal path. Adjoining the pretty tea rooms/cafe in Bosherston, this simple yet cosy cottage is a welcoming home from home, with stable doors and classic furniture adding character and charm. Relax in front of a film or with a board game in the living room, after enjoying a home-cooked meal together in the dining room. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The family bathroom has a walk in shower and is located downstairs. Upstairs, both the double bedroom and the twin room are bright yet warm, with the eaves creating a cosy atmosphere.

Outside, to the rear of the cottage, there is a patio area with access to the lawn, the perfect place for a morning coffee and stroll. There is an additional lawned area to the front but please note this is used by customers of the adjoining tea room. There is off-road parking for two cars. We had a fantastic stay at no. 1 coastguard cottage. Its in a brilliant location and the cottage is comfortable and really well equipped. Ok - so a shower would have been wonderful - but, hey, baths are good too! The benefits of this place way outweigh any downsides. Broadhaven beach is just perfection; we watched otters on the lily ponds; jumped oRead moreff cliffs; found secret coves and invaded castles and discovered the Millennium Falcon at Pembroke Dock museum! Amazing stay in a great property! Hide

An excellent location for visiting the Lily ponds. Extremely helpful owners. Stairs not suitable for anyone with mobility or sight problems.especially during the night as there is only a downstairs toilet. No Vodafone signal for at least 2 miles.
