Fabulous period cottage with sun terrace, garden and sea views on the edge of Bethesda, perfect for two or four to explore the countryside, coast and culture in North Wales and Snowdonia National Park.

Bethesda offers a local pub and shop with a plethora of good restaurants to choose from within easy reach. Visit Zip World or Surf Snowdonia, Caernarfon or Penryhn Castles, the Secret Gardens or National Trust’s Plas Neuadd, go underground at the Slate Cavern or to Electric Mountain. You could even take a boat trip or a ride on Snowdon Mountain Railway. Pop to the nearby towns of Llanberis, Capel Curig, Betws-y-Coed, Bangor, Caernarfon and Anglesey with their attractions, harbours, shops, galleries, eateries, activities and events. Stroll through nature reserves such as Cwm Idwal, join the footpaths across Snowdonia National Park and Wales Coastal Path, climb to Snowdon’s peak or wander along the beaches. This is the perfect location to just relax or go exploring.

This beautiful cottage has been creatively designed with period features, interesting artworks and luxury touches throughout. Walk into the hall with dog tail hooks for your coats and slip off your shoes. To your left is the stunning dining room and kitchen with access to the sun terrace and lovely views towards the Menai Straits. If you decide to eat in the kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher alongside all the thoughtful little extras creating a lovely space to cook in. The dining table is the perfect setting to savour a meal, catch up on your news and plan your activities for your holiday. After dinner, continue through to the lounge with feature fireplace with wood burner, comfortable sofa and chairs and unique stained-glass feature, and relax, maybe listen to music, lose yourself in a good book, watch a film on the Smart TV/DVD. On this floor you will also find the fabulous king-size bedroom with French doors to the sun terrace and the stylish shower room with shower and WC. On the first floor, which is accessed via steep, straight stairs, is the second spacious king-size bedroom also with fabulous views towards the Menai Straits, and the bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, enjoy a leisurely bubble bath in the freestanding bath or an invigorating shower in the separate shower.

Enjoy the sunshine on the bench in the pretty front garden, relax on the sun terrace with table and chairs or head off into the secret garden with dappled shade, babbling stream and enjoy al fresco dining on the paved patio with table, chairs and charcoal BBQ. If you are bringing your bikes or canoes there is ample storage in the lockable garage. There is also parking for two cars at the property.

Extremely clean, well thought out and equipped cottage. Lovely welcome gifts. Heating and log fire so welcome during our wet and windy stay. The host Sue was so very helpful and kind and kept in touch throughout.

This was one of the most well appointed cottages we have ever stayed in. It was in a beautiful location with footpaths leading from the doorstep and was very quiet. The cottage was tastefully decorated with modern bathrooms. It was obvious that the owners made a real effort to think of guests every need , even leaving home made cakes for our arrivaRead morel. Daffodil House is one of the nicest cottages we have ever stayed in. The owners have given a great deal of thought to the comfort of their guests and it really shows. Our week in North Wales was amazing, the cottage is in a great location with plenty of lovely walks on your doorstep, you do then have to drive everywhere but that was fine for us. We loved the cottage, one of the best we have stayed in. A lovely cottage in St Ann's Bethesda. Cake, wine and chocolates and a radio playing gave it a very homely feel upon arrival. The cottage is well located for exploring North Wales. This is a first class property. I was slightly anxious about going away at the moment but the covid measures were really good and put us completely at ease. From the minute we opened the front door, it felt like home. Thoughtfully decorated, cosy and clean. Sue, asked if we would like her to pick up anything from the local farm shop, emailed a list to us, she then brought it to the cottage, and put it away for us too. 5* service! Sue rang before our holiday and then emailed a comprehensive 'guide' to the cottage. This was a good start as we were anxious about going away. The holiday was perfect from the moment we drove up the mountain - it's in a wonderful location - and walked into the cottage. We had a great stay at Daffodil House. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sue was an amazing host and so helpful in giving us information about a local farm shop and then collecting our order so it was all in the fridge when we arrived. Excellent cottage equipped with everything needed and an ideal base for touring North Wales. Accommodation was cosy with two beautiful king size bedrooms and 2 luxurious bathrooms. The owners could not be more obliging and the treats on arrival are a great touch, even some for the dog .

This is a beautiful property. A real gem in North Wales. The house is very well appointed and has been finished to a very high standard.
