Property code: BN172

A charming converted Welsh longhouse, with accommodation to suit families or a group of friends. Make the most of warm days out in the garden, then enjoy the elegant and stylish decor inside.

Situated just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park, the property is surrounded by some of the area’s most stunning natural beauty spots and popular attractions. All ages will love a visit to the Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary (7 miles), while there’s plenty of adventure to be had at the National Showcaves Centre for Wales (9 miles). For a scenic picnic spot, make the climb to the romantic ruins of Carreg Cennen Castle (11.5 miles). Further afield, plan a day trip to see the spectacular waterfall Sgwd Yr Eira (23 miles).

Stepping inside the property, head to the stylish kitchen. With rustic brick detailing and a neutral colour scheme, it’s the perfect environment for relaxed cooking, and comes equipped with an electric Range Master cooker with ceramic hob, a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and freezer. There's a vast array of crockery, cutlery and cookware available. Moving through into the dining room, the mahogany dining table is perfect for family meals, and there’s a matching sideboard for extra crockery space. Exploring further, you’ll find the elegantly furnished lounge. Here you can choose from soft seating or sumptuous Chesterfields on offer to settle down in front of the wood burner to watch TV. There are also French doors which open onto the patio, affording the room additional natural light. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room with a washer dryer, plus a drying space for coats and boots on a wet day. Leading up the wooden stairs, you’ll reach the property’s three bedrooms. The first of these is a double boasting an en-suite shower room, followed by a second pretty double with a wrought iron bed, and finally a colourful twin. They are served by the large family bathroom, with a shower over the whirlpool bath, and WC. All the upstairs rooms are in the eaves, and therefore have sloping ceilings and low headroom in places

Venturing outside via the French doors, you can sit out and dine alfresco on the patio furniture. There’s a BBQ provided, to enjoy during warm summer afternoons, and the enclosed lawned area is a wonderful space for adults and children alike. Off-road parking is available at the front of the property.
