Property code: TYGOS

Period property, lovingly converted from the former ballroom of an early 19th century manor house, situated in the scenic North Wales countryside within a short drive of both the coast and the mountains of Snowdonia.

This property is located in the perfect position for those who enjoy spending time outdoors in picturesque surroundings. Set within Snowdonia National Park, visitors can make the most of the stunning mountain landscape, taking country walks, hikes, and challenging climbs. There are also opportunities to enjoy fishing nearby, as well as dry-slope skiing, golf, and horse riding. There is even a purpose-built inland surf centre within easy driving distance of the property in nearby Conwy, which provides visitors with perfect surf conditions all year round. Conwy is also home to its famous castle, as well as being a great place to spend an afternoon browsing the shops and sampling the delights of the local cafes, restaurants, and pubs.

This cottage makes an attractive place to enjoy a relaxing break in rural North Wales. At the heart of the property, the kitchen/diner is a homely room offering a warm welcome with a farmhouse-style dining table and a good range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and washing machine. The lounge provides guests with the perfect place in which to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day, with two comfortable sofas, a TV/DVD, and a wood burner-effect gas fire. Doors from this room lead out to the gardens which are shared with the two neighbouring properties. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. The first of these is a pretty room with a double bed and en-suite shower room, its own TV, and a sloping beamed ceiling. The second bedroom is a charming twin which also benefits from its own TV, whilst the third is a restful bunk bedroom, both of which, like the double, have a sloping ceiling, and therefore some reduced head-height. The bathroom, meanwhile, offers a shower-over-bath and WC.

To the rear of the property, there are shared gardens which offer an attractive, and well-maintained space for guests to enjoy, as do the lawns to the front of the property. In addition to this, there is a private patio area, as well as ample off-road parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely, comfortable and clean cottage, with some personal little touches and amazing location with fabulous views. There is so much to do locally and further afield, we will be returning. We were lucky that we had good weather and so got out and about a lot, but you could be quite happy curled up with a book on a rainy day looking at the views.

Fabulous cottage in a lovely location. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and have equipped the cottage with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The views are stunning and we did not hear any noise from either of the adjoining properties.

Could not fault this wonderful property. The owners were extremely welcoming without being overly in your face. Lots of lovely touches, such as complementary goodies on arrival. Useful information about the area, including a great place to eat nearby. Good wifi. The cottage was very clean and lots of cleaning materials available too, (and loo rollsRead more!). Very spacious living area and bedrooms. Pleasing decor. Location was perfect, away from the madding crowd and views to die for. Highly recommended Hide

Beautiful cottage, amazing location and fantastic hosts. The cottage was a home away from home with lots of space and there are plenty of walks with spectacular views straight from the door. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly, a great place for children and dogs. The perfect get away.

Loved our break at the Gosa Cottage. The owners were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. Beautiful cottage, very spacious yet cosy. The views were amazing, they are in a lovely setting but not too far from Conwy and the surrounding areas. We will definitely return
