Located on a working farm near the pretty village of Reynoldston in the heart of Gower Peninsula, close to the Cefn Bryn ridge. A short drive to shops and plenty of super local pubs. Gower, the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, attracts surfers, walkers and cyclists alike, and you are very well placed at this cosy cottage to enjoy all activities. In this central Gower location, you are never usually more than 3 miles from the coast, so a day at one of the renowned sandy beaches of Oxwich, Rhossili or Port Eynon is a must. Mumbles also has a good range of independent shops and eateries. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Entering this charming semi-detached cottage into a useful boot room with a WC and into a well-equipped kitchen/diner which has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.  The dining table comfortably seats four. Through into the characterful lounge with two large sofas, an impressive grandfather clock and a warming wood burner where you can cuddle up on the sofa and watch the Smart TV. The beamed ceiling gives this room a cosy and welcoming ambience any time of the year and there are French doors to the rear garden. Up the stairs to the first floor where there are two bedrooms – the first is a good-sized double with the second being a twin bedroom with pleasant rural views. Across the landing to the bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside there is a large enclosed garden with lawn and patio, garden furniture, mature trees, a charcoal BBQ and views across the beautiful Rhossili Downs. Off road parking alongside the cottage for two cars. Eggs and Fresh Vegetables are available to purchase from the owner (seasonal only).

The cottage is lovely, warm and cosy. Its location makes it an easy drive from the various beaches on the peninsula. Jacky is a lovely host whos really helpful and approachable. The garden and patio area would have been lovely to use has the weather been a little warmer.

Couldn't ask for a better cottage to spend Christmas, the lounge & log burner was the perfect setting. The cottage was well equipped and suited us, the location was perfect, close to several amazing walks, Jacky was very helpful and friendly, always on hand with any queries, the welcome basket was well appreciated, will definitely be returning.

Blissful area with the sound and the presence of nature all around, owls, wild ponies sheep and fabulous starry skies on a clear night..settled in immediately to a warm and cosy farmhouse with a wonderful ambience. Lovely old farm cottage , well equipped , central heating, log burner, double glazing. Could be stayed in all year round. The Gower is beautiful with beaches a very short drive away, and Cefyn Bryn common is a short drive to take your dogs for a beautiful walk. Leads are essential as cows, horses and sheep roam freely. We had a fabulous time at the cottage. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was beautiful inside and out and the bed was so comfortable - best bed we've ever slept in. The cottage is wonderfully positioned with a beautiful view from the back garden. It is peaceful with birdsong and farm animals for company. The beaches are superb with Rhossilli and Llanmadoc about 15mins away. Despite the weather trying its hardest to ruin our holiday we had a lovely time. The cottage was so cosy and welcoming after being out in the wind and rain. The location is great, just 10 minutes from beautiful beaches. Our host couldnt do enough to ensure that we had all we needed for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back.

The cottage was clean and welcoming - very well equipped. There is lovely outside seating area on the patio. In addition there is a picnic table on the lawn and a delightful rustic seat beneath a willow tree in the extensive garden area. The friendly owner is most helpful and ensured that everything was provided for our stay.

As a family of 4 with a dog, this cottage was just perfect for us. It is beautiful, comfortable, spotless, with plenty of room and bags of character. Situated on a working farm, the peace and tranquility is amazing. We loved watching the cows grazing in the field at the bottom of the garden with bats and swallows each evening. A very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Everything that you need for an enjoyable stay is provided. Nice touches were tea/coffee/sugar/milk and welsh cakes provided! And a bag of spuds. The cottage is well placed to explore Gower (beaches, pubs etc) , but in a very quiet location providing for a peaceful stay, and a decent nights sleep. Cottage very comfortable and in very restful environment. The surrounding countryside and coastline is stunning. The owner lives in the adjacent cottage so is on hand to help with ideas on places to visit or sort any queries. The beds were the best we have ever slept in!!!

The holiday cottage is attached to the owners cottage on her farm. There is a garden which the owner uses occasionally, we didn't use it much due to the time of year. The holiday cottage is in an ideal location being only a few minutes drive from all the lovely beaches. We enjoyed our stay at Kingsland (Hennyswell) Cottage - a quiet location, ideally placed for walks, cycle rides and trail running around the Gower; there are lovely beaches - Three Cliffs, Oxwich, Port Cynon, Rhossili - only a few minutes drive away.
