A stylish converted mill overlooking traditional gardens and a stream, perfectly located for exploring the rugged coastline of North Wales and the Cheshire countryside.

Lovingly restored, this property is well-secluded within the owner’s grounds. It lies between the pretty seaside town of Conwy, which has a medieval castle and wallen town, and the beautiful walled city of Chester, which is steeped in history. There’s great walking on the property’s doorstep, with it being located in an area of outstanding national beauty and the mill’s garden backing on to the Coed Y Felin nature reserve. You can also climb nearby Moel Famau, the highest hill in the Clwydian Range. Venture a little further and explore the town of Mold, with its street market, annual food and drink festival and Theatre Clywd, or the historic towns of Ruthin, Denbigh or Llangollen. Snowdonia is also close by with its mountain railway. You really couldn't be in a more central location. With Liverpool less than an hours drive away by car, Chester just a 20 minute drive and the whole of North Wales, with it's enviable coastline and stunning mountain ranges, right on your doorstep.

The converted mill retains its beautiful exposed beams throughout. In the open-plan lounge/diner, which enjoys garden views, the cosy country aesthetic has been kept. Here you’ll find a classic wood burner-effect electric fireplace, which you can relax in front of while watching the Smart TV. There’s also a small dining table. Overlooking the lounge you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. On the same floor is a double bedroom with a super-king-size bed, which can be made up as a twin on request. The spacious bathroom has a monsoon shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside is a private courtyard and lawn area. Here you’ll find seating and a BBQ, perfect for summer evenings after you’ve spent the day exploring the area. There’s parking for two cars and bike storage is available.

The only property I have been to that was spotless and has everything else we needed. We desperately needed a break and we enjoyed the silence and just being able to switch off!

This adorable cottage is in a perfect location close to nature's treasures and tucked away from busy life of the city. I love the stylistic choices of the owners in decorating her cottage I really appreciated her efforts to make the cottage cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the fullly equipped kitchen followed by a short woodland walk jusRead moret located on the doorstep. There are a lot of beautiful places to see in Mold and you are spoilt for choice. We will definitely be back to explore! Hide

Excellent cottage, wonderful location and lovely host living above. You can walk out the door into the Coed Y Felin nature reserve, and the small brook by the cottage is a heart melter.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break in this lovely cottage. The nature reserve at the back of the cottage was full of birds and we enjoyed visiting some of the attractions in the area. We had the pleasure of attending Theatr Clywd to see Educating Rita. Highly recommended.

This was the first time I've been away by myself for a long time and I could not of been happier with this little gem of a find. The cottage itself is lovely and the little touches from the owner only add to the charm. It was really nice to fall asleep to the sound of the stream outside.
