Mayfair is a wonderful cabin. Fully equiped and cosy. We stayed in October and the place stayed warm, even with the doors and windows open. The beach leading to Tywi Boat Club is absolutely stunning.. such diverse flora and fauna... where the woodlands meet the estuary. So much open space. So much brilliant light, even when it's raining! LlansteffaRead moren is a friendly village and the Castle Inn is the community hub. We will deffinately book again. Hide

Absolutely wonderful, fully equipped, comfortable and clean. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We kyaked in the nearby river and sea without the need for using the car. Excellent base for visiting places like the brecon beacons or Tenby. We hope to be back sometime soon.

A lovely little property in a great location. Perfect for a couple and a dog or a couple with a small child. A good 30 minute walk to the local town along the beach or road. A local shop and two pubs can be found there along with a pizza restaurant with limited opening on weekends only. Very quiet and relaxing with some beautiful scenery. A comfortable and cosy cabin by the sea adjacent to beautiful sandy beach. Fairly basic throughout but more than adequate for its purpose. A lovely stroll along the beach takes you into the village centre. A great location for a seafront getaway and chill out holiday.

Shabby chic - but very comfortable for a holiday let. It was well equipped, had we needed to do any cooking other than prepare salads. our only criteria was that our cottage needed to be within a walk of a pub so we could avoid driving every day, and this walk was along the beach which was perfect.

Road approach is quite bad, high car is needed, nice location and property, we didnt go out in the car for fear of damaging it on the flood defence hills as we scraped the floor, would recommend if you have a 4x4

Wonderful location. So quiet and relaxing. The dog enjoyed the beach and trying to find the rabbits. Quite a long walk to village. Plenty of walks to go on. The property was lovely. Needs a bit if a spruce up but overall very enjoyable.

An idyllic hut in a semi remote location with access to the beach but it is a much further walk if you want the amenities of cafes and shops. Probably not the best location for young children. I loved the style of the hut and would recommend it others looking for a peaceful off the beaten track holiday.

Mayfair is gorgeous, light and airy, well equipped and comfortable, and a fabulous location, just the other side of the flood defences is the beach. In the week we were there (June 2021), the beach was virtually deserted, so we had it to ourselves and our dog - no restrictions on dogs on that beach! We would love to come back again, as would our doRead moreg, she loved the bunnies running everywhere, and the long stretches of sand. Hide
