This charming stone farmhouse with a contemporary finish sits in an AONB with panoramic sea views, a great place for a family of four to get out and about and enjoy the beauty of nature.

There is so much surrounding history and picturesque countryside to enjoy at this property, you be spoilt for choice for interesting places to visit and things to do. Ghost hunt in some of the historic ruins, birdwatch along the estuary to see kingfishers and egrets, or head to the sandy beaches on either side of you where there is plenty of space for surfers, bathers, fishermen and horse riders to enjoy this unspoilt coastline. 10 miles north west is Porthcawl which has another three large sandy beaches to enjoy a lovely promenade, theatre, funfair and a golf club. Travel just 25 miles east to find the capital of Wales, Cardiff where you can experience the castle, museums and shopping centres.

As you enter this exceptionally styled, contemporary, open-plan living area, with muted beach tones and gorgeous wood textures, it really does feel like a perfect beach house. The light floods in through the skylights and windows giving it a lovely open and spacious feel, perfect for relaxing to the sound of the sea on the snug blue sofa or enjoying some family time with a board game or a family movie on the Smart TV. This room also includes a dining table for two and a breakfast bar with two stools. The kitchen is well-equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and dishwasher. From the living area, you can access the funky mezzanine twin room via an open (pull-out, loft like) ladder – the room has overhead spotlights, two skylights and a squishy bean bag to chill on. Downstairs is the master bedroom with a king-size bed that has stunning sea views; you’ll find a dresser and plenty of space to hang your clothes as well as an en-suite shower room with a dual shower head and a WC.

Outside, you are able to enjoy the views further with your very own open-plan stone patio area including a table and chairs should you wish to dine alfresco. Over the further walled area is the heritage clifftop walk, and there is a café and bar area on-site.

Nash is a modern but very cozy and perfect for those with a couple of kids and a small dog. I found the accommodation has more than what is stated. There is pots, pans, cutlery and much more so you don't need to take anything much more than the very bare minimal essentials. I really can not fault Nash Cottage. From the moment you arrive at the fantastic location you just know its going to be first class. Everything you could possibly need is supplied, from washing up liquid or tabs for the dishwasher to a brolly. Nash was just perfect for us. Stunning location and coastal walks right on doorstep for our morning and evening dog walks. Added bonus of cafe next door which served the most amazing breakfasts. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and may even come back again

The cottage was stunning, an amazing location overlooking the sea. It has been converted to a very high spec and was very comfortable and well equiped. We loved using the small terrace outside and our dog loved the larger enclosed space for playing ball. We absolutely love staying at Nash cottage. Its the perfect accommodation for a short stay in Glamorgan. We could walk along the coastal path and take refuge back home when the weather became wet. Our children loved the mezzanine and played there for hours while we rested downstairs. What an amazing escape for a week, I did not want to leave. Nash is a beautiful cottage and a wonderful place to spend time. You can sit and spend hours just looking at the sea, watching the changing weather and amazing sunsets. I only drove my car once as everything is within walking distance. A lovely week spent at West Farm. Four of us (plus our dog) stayed in the Nash property. Beautiful location, fantastic weather, property was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Our daughter and her partner stayed over one night but the mezzanine level is better suited for kids rather than adults, just due to head room (and getting a suitcase up that ladder would be a bit of a challenge!!) We enjoyed our stay in this well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage set in a wonderful, coastal location. We had a great time walking your dog.
