A dog-friendly retreat for two, with a garden and mountain views in peaceful Brynsiencyn village. The perfect location to relax and to explore countryside, coast and culture on the Isle of Anglesey.

Great location in Brynsiencyn to explore the whole island. Take a short drive to Newborough Nature Reserve, with its forest, red squirrels, sand dunes and sandy beach. Pop to the famous town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch, visit Anglesey Sea Zoo and the largest aquarium in Wales, and enjoy wild windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and sea fishing at Rhosneigr. Cruise the Menai Straits or head to Beaumaris with its castle, shops, and eateries. Visit the premier Motor Racing Circuit or explore the footpaths in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Anglesey has a rich history and many attractions including National Trust’s Plas Newydd, Maritime Museum, Amlwch Lighthouse and Amlwch Copper Kingdom, and is within easy reach of Bangor, Caernarfon and North Wales.

Arrive at the lovely location, park the car and walk up to this lodge-style accommodation offering home-from-home comforts. Walk into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with lovely views towards the mountain range. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. If you decide to eat in, the dining table is perfectly positioned by the window to enjoy the view and your meal together. After a full day out, relax on the comfortable sofa, watch the Smart TV or lose yourself in a good book. For cosy nights in, put on the electric feature fire, plan your holiday activities and watch a film or your favourite programme. When it’s time to retire, you can choose from two bedrooms, a double with en-suite WC or take the 2ft 6in twin, both bedrooms have been designed for a good night's sleep. Lastly, there is the stylish shower room with shower and WC.

Outside there is a small private garden area with lawn and a further large grassed area across the gravelled driveway, a sun deck with table and chairs, and the gravel patio with chunky picnic bench and a BBQ to enjoy the weather and al fresco dining. There is private parking for two cars at the property. The owners are on-site though privacy is assured.

Beautiful static. Very warm and comfortable. Every utensil you could want in the kitchen. Lovely location. Very clean. The garden at the side is all secure for the dogs. Wish the one at the front was secure as its a lovely space. Would really recommend staying here.

Caravan accommodation in its own private corner of owners large garden is ideal for guests who are not keen on larger caravan parks. Caravan well equipped and situated within 4 miles of Newborough beach and forest ideal places to walk your dog.

The caravan was extremely well looked after and well equipped. Location was perfect though did have to time visits to the local pub so we did not walk back in the dark! The welcome touches such as the milk/eggs/cake was lovely and Rolo enjoyed his dog treat. We had no sighting of the owners - though Barrie was on the other end of the phone and did Read morepop round later in the week when he returned from travelling - we did not have caravan experience so struggled a bit at first with heating/locks. I can not think of anything that could be improved. Fantastic host, amazing location in a quiet area but with pub, coffee house and take out nearby. So relaxing! The accommodation was great with a secure garden for the dogs and plenty of walks on our doorstep! Would love to return again in the future.

paws retreat was perfect for us ,we recieved a warm welcome from Barrie & Christine and the chalet was spotlessly clean and the essentials were there for us e.g eggs and milk in the fridge tea bags and doggy treats which was a great touch. It was comfortable and with the small enclosed garden ideal for our 2 dogs . Very pleasant stay. Lovely touches with stocking us up with essentials for when we arrived! Only thing is it wasn't long enough!!! Lol Lovely views of the sheep and mountains, close to a lovely beach and the Isle of the blessed. Great for taking the dogs there.

Lovely spot great views of the mountains Very good for visiting the rest of Anglesey. The accomodation was spotless . Enclosed area at the rear for dogs also large area at the front that would be suitable to exercise a well trained dog this area is not gated. We would certainly consider a return visit in the future.

A great place to stay clean and well equipped. Pleasant owners who once welcomed visitors are out of sight but next door if required. Eggs, milk and cakes there on arrival. Nice chippy in Newborough and only a few miles from Newborough Forest and Beach. Would thoroughly recommend.

Had a fantastic week. The caravan is extremely comfortable, clean, well equipped and relaxing. Never slept so well. Good location to access the whole of Anglesey and also North Wales. Lots of wildlife to see in the evening. Owners very welcoming. Garden secure for our bouncy pup. Highly recommend an escape to Paws Retreat.

Just spent three lovely nights here and I can't fault the accommodation at all. The place was clean and tidy when we arrived with a bottle of milk in the fridge so we could make a brew straight away. there are some lovely places to visit along the coast and only a ten minuet drive away, so all in all a really great place to get away from it all.

Our first dog holiday and couldnt have picked a better place . It does what it says on the tin peaceful chilled out and the beach & forest 10min down road by car out of this world . Christine absolutely lovely and even though owners live next door you dont know it . Thankyou to you both x

We stayed at Paws Retreat for a week at Easter, the caravan was excellent and everything possible was provided. The location is stunning with views of the snowdonian mountains from the comfort of the couch. Or as I did had my morning coffee sat outside the patio doors. We enjoyed our time at this property and (importantly) so did our dogs. It was clean and modern and the views across to Snowdonia are constantly changing, get up early and see the sunrise, stay up late for the sunset! We booked last minute for Christmas, and were very surprised when we saw that the owner had put a Christmas tree and decorations up, and left the dogs treats and mince pies, cakes, as well as milk and eggs for us. We couldn't fault it, it was spotless, well equipt and very warm and cosy. We were looking for somewhere quiet for our reactive rescue dogs and we certainly found somewhere. The caravan was private and cosy with amazing views and surroundings. Barrie assisted us in the direction of some quiet walks and we were not disappointed, a quiet beach so the dogs could run free and enjoy the sea made our hearts smile. I will not go to this caravan again as there is no where to put your towels when you have used them, not even a maiden and the seating covers were very dirty. Also the none stick coating in the pans was all coming off, but I have to say that when I told them they gave us there own set. Excellent location for walking the southwest part of the coast. On a bus route (infrequent) but quiet with lovely views. All queries were handled very quickly and efficiently even though the owner was abroad at the time. Would definitely recommend. Great property for a dog who was made welcome with treats.

Our accommodation was very clean, comfortable and in an excellent location for exploring the island of Anglesey. The property is screened from the owners house by a well placed wooden screen giving privacy coupled with the knowledge that help was nearby if required. Milk in the fridge meant that we could have a much needed cuppa on arrival. We had Read morea very warm welcome from the owner too, which was a good start to our holiday. Paws Retreat is a place I feel I can go to in my own, I cannot say that about many holiday homes. I went with my father and an elderly friend and they both loved it. It is quiet, secluded, the owners are lovely. Can recommend staying there. Near to Newborough Forest, but in easy reach to the rest of Anglesey if you want to explore.

Loved this place. Owners were very respectful of our privacy but were there when we needed them for tips and advice. Great location, managed to see the whole of Anglesey in the week that we were there. The weather was fantastic which was a bonus. Would recommend

The caravan as everything you need and is very comfortable. The views are spectacular and the owners are friendly but do not impose on your privacy. You can explore Anglesey by car and return back to your accommodation for relaxation.we did find the road a little noisy at first but soon got used to it.lovely time. Fantastic area

The description of single storey lodge style accommodation is misleading, this is a static caravan, more photos would have confirmed this. It was very clean and well equipped.

Paws Retreat is a lovely place to stay. The views from the sofa are spectacular! The property is very comfortable and private with its own little garden. Sitting out on the deck with a morning coffee or dinner is a delight! Our lurcher loved it also. We will definitely go back so much that we didn't get to do!

The cottage was great value. The extras for our pup were great, milk and eggs for us (fantastic), the views were serine, the location was top notch, we travelled the whole island. Our trip was just too short lol. We could have stayed for a week and been busy all week.
