A dog-friendly retreat for two, with a garden and mountain views in peaceful Brynsiencyn village. The perfect location to relax and to explore countryside, coast and culture on the Isle of Anglesey.

Great location in Brynsiencyn to explore the whole island. Take a short drive to Newborough Nature Reserve, with its forest, red squirrels, sand dunes and sandy beach. Pop to the famous town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch, visit Anglesey Sea Zoo and the largest aquarium in Wales, and enjoy wild windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and sea fishing at Rhosneigr. Cruise the Menai Straits or head to Beaumaris with its castle, shops, and eateries. Visit the premier Motor Racing Circuit or explore the footpaths in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Anglesey has a rich history and many attractions including National Trust’s Plas Newydd, Maritime Museum, Amlwch Lighthouse and Amlwch Copper Kingdom, and is within easy reach of Bangor, Caernarfon and North Wales.

Arrive at the lovely location, park the car and walk up to this lodge-style accommodation offering home-from-home comforts. Walk into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with lovely views towards the mountain range. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. If you decide to eat in, the dining table is perfectly positioned by the window to enjoy the view and your meal together. After a full day out, relax on the comfortable sofa, watch the Smart TV or lose yourself in a good book. For cosy nights in, put on the electric feature fire, plan your holiday activities and watch a film or your favourite programme. When it’s time to retire, you can choose from two bedrooms, a double with en-suite WC or take the 2ft 6in twin, both bedrooms have been designed for a good night's sleep. Lastly, there is the stylish shower room with shower and WC.

Outside there is a small private garden area with lawn and a further large grassed area across the gravelled driveway, a sun deck with table and chairs, and the gravel patio with chunky picnic bench and a BBQ to enjoy the weather and al fresco dining. There is private parking for two cars at the property. The owners are on-site though privacy is assured.

Loved my stay. The accommodation was perfect for me and my three dogs who made themselves at home. We had everything we needed including a lovely welcome pack which included snacks for the dogs (though I had taken my own, it was an appreciated gesture!). Was a little bit cold even with heating on, but had electric blankets on the bed so was very pleased. Otherwise we had a lovely stay do bear in mind that when using sat nav it takes you all down the lanes. The cottage is a large mobile home but having said that we enjoyed our holiday and would definitely go back again.

Christine and Barry are first class hosts, they are very welcoming, sociable and helpful and were also very kind towards our 3 small dogs. The holiday home and premises were excellent for both our own and our pets needs and we have reflected this with 5 stars for every category. We are looking forward to returning soon, very enjoyable .

Paws retreat is just so relaxing. Everything you need. Owner Barrie is so accommodating. Ideal for touring all round Anglesey. Lovely welcome pack of eggs,milk, Welsh cakes and doggie treats. Very doggy friendly. Our 2nd visit and will certainly return.

Paws Retreat comes highly recommended. Extremely clean and well equipped. Very comfy bed for a good nights sleep. Outside space for the dogs isnt the biggest but was fine for our two and they were secure in the garden. The views across to Snowdonia are amazing.

Enjoyed my stay in this comfortable caravan which has everything you would require. The milk eggs and dog treats etc were a lovely surprise. Christine is lovely and very helpful but not intrusive. We were delighted with the caravan......it was so clean and comfortable , a home from home. The eggs milk and Fairy cakes were a lovely surprise on arrival and it was nice to have lots of information leaflets.....very helpful . The view from the lounge ( on a clear day ) was beautiful!

This was our second visit to Paws Retreat and we were not disappointed. The caravan is in such a peaceful location with amazing views of Snowdonia. The caravan is very comfortable with everything you need.

We had a very nice stay at paws retreat ,location and surroundings ideal for a relaxing holiday. The gaps on the gate were too far apart for a little dog and an extra gate would be useful. The skirting should have gone right across side of the caravan to stop dogs from going underneath .

What a find! We loved our stay here. Not only was it perfectly located for everything that Anglesey has to offer, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we could need. Plenty of storage for our stuff, lovely clean bathroom and a kitchen that had everything. The cakes and dog treats were a lovely addition. Beautifully presented accommodation! Spotless, comfortable, very well equipped and perfect for dog owners. Good outdoor seating/eating area and dog exercise area. Situated in a beautiful area close to the coast with plenty of beaches, villages and small towns within easy reach. Highly recommended!

A perfect base on a beautiful island. We were blessed with good weather which is always a plus. The accommodation was great in every way and Barrie and Christine couldnt have been better. Ideal location with lovely views of the distant mountains of Snowdonia. Warm and comfortable venue. There is a lovely quiet beach only about 8 miles further along the A4080 with parking.

Lovely spot, beautiful mountain views. Beautifully presented and clean but Ill be honest, the double bed was a bit uncomfortable. We Loved our stay, great location for access to Angleseys gems. We absolutely loved our stay and where sad to go home. The caravan is lovely and clean and so comfortable. The views from the front windows and deck are amazing and never the same. Beautiful static. Very warm and comfortable. Every utensil you could want in the kitchen. Lovely location. Very clean. The garden at the side is all secure for the dogs. Wish the one at the front was secure as its a lovely space. Would really recommend staying here.

Caravan accommodation in its own private corner of owners large garden is ideal for guests who are not keen on larger caravan parks. Caravan well equipped and situated within 4 miles of Newborough beach and forest ideal places to walk your dog.

The caravan was extremely well looked after and well equipped. Location was perfect though did have to time visits to the local pub so we did not walk back in the dark! The welcome touches such as the milk/eggs/cake was lovely and Rolo enjoyed his dog treat. We had no sighting of the owners - though Barrie was on the other end of the phone and did Read morepop round later in the week when he returned from travelling - we did not have caravan experience so struggled a bit at first with heating/locks. I can not think of anything that could be improved. Fantastic host, amazing location in a quiet area but with pub, coffee house and take out nearby. So relaxing! The accommodation was great with a secure garden for the dogs and plenty of walks on our doorstep! Would love to return again in the future.

Very pleasant stay. Lovely touches with stocking us up with essentials for when we arrived! Only thing is it wasn't long enough!!! Lol Lovely views of the sheep and mountains, close to a lovely beach and the Isle of the blessed. Great for taking the dogs there.

Lovely spot great views of the mountains Very good for visiting the rest of Anglesey. The accomodation was spotless . Enclosed area at the rear for dogs also large area at the front that would be suitable to exercise a well trained dog this area is not gated. A great place to stay clean and well equipped. Pleasant owners who once welcomed visitors are out of sight but next door if required. Eggs, milk and cakes there on arrival. Nice chippy in Newborough and only a few miles from Newborough Forest and Beach. Would thoroughly recommend.

Had a fantastic week. The caravan is extremely comfortable, clean, well equipped and relaxing. Never slept so well. Good location to access the whole of Anglesey and also North Wales. Lots of wildlife to see in the evening. Owners very welcoming. Garden secure for our bouncy pup. Highly recommend an escape to Paws Retreat.

Just spent three lovely nights here and I can't fault the accommodation at all. The place was clean and tidy when we arrived with a bottle of milk in the fridge so we could make a brew straight away. there are some lovely places to visit along the coast and only a ten minuet drive away, so all in all a really great place to get away from it all.

Our first dog holiday and couldnt have picked a better place . It does what it says on the tin peaceful chilled out and the beach & forest 10min down road by car out of this world . Christine absolutely lovely and even though owners live next door you dont know it . Thankyou to you both x
