It was a beautiful and cosy Stuart period property. Perfectly located for the historic town centre. The hosts were generous and informative. The church is delightful and the castle worth a visit. Lots of lovely walks and pubs. Well worth a stay.

We had a lovely time at St John's Cottage, and Ludlow. The cottage is a delightful property with all you need in a great location. Ludlow is a wonderful town and everything is within walking distance. A nice little back courtyard, very safe and secure for our small dog and a glass of prosecco in the evening. Lovely cosy cottage, ideally situated in Ludlow for access to town. Ideal for a New Year break. Patricia was a very welcoming host and the cottage was beautifully decorated inside. We really enjoyed our week here.

We have had one of the best stays in England ever in this quaint little cottage with our puppy Cookie. It has been decorated to an incredible standard with such little space the owner Patricia has done so much. You can tell its a Labour of love. The locals and neighbours were talkative, funny, helpful and Cookie even made a wee puppy friend called Read moreEvie, the owner being so so welcoming. We would definitely return again to this lovely town in Shropshire. Duncan, Rehana & Cookie Hide

This quirky cottage is as described on the website. It has low beams, so you have to duck if you are tall. You can't park very near, but that wasn't an issue if you can manage a short walk. It has a small kitchen where you could cook a relatively simple meal but there is oodles of good food in Ludlow which we took advantage of. Full of character anRead mored charm. Nick and Joy Hide
