Only 3 miles away is the market town of Abergavenny where you can take advantage of their weekly farmers market or relax with an afternoon tea at the famous Angel Hotel. This area is steeped in history with some of Europe’s finest surviving castles such as Abergavenny Castle set against the spectacular hills and Crickhowell Castle (8 miles), a prominent feature of this picturesque market town. For the more adventurous, try canoeing or kayaking on the River Wye at Symonds Yat, or for something more leisurely, a trip on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal or spend the day browsing the many book shops in Hay on Wye (only 40 minute drive away).

A small breakfast bar with two stools is ideal for a quick morning coffee. When the day is done, climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find two double bedrooms, (one is a zip and link) and a beautifully tiled shower room with a double walk-in rain shower and WC. There is a large chest of drawers and wardrobe on the landing for you to share.
Outside is ample space for you to relax and enjoy the views across the countryside. There is a patio with a small table and chairs along with a grassed area, and another table and chairs to the front of the cottage, looking out to the craft centre. There is off-road parking in front of the cottage for two.
