Beautifully converted chapel cottage dating back to the 1800s. Flexible accommodation for families within easy reach of Southerndown and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.

This property is located in the village of St Brides Major in the Vale of Glamorgan. The village boasts a shop and two popular local pubs just a short walk from the property. Southerndown Beach is just 1.5 miles away, and a perfect spot to relax. This pretty stretch of coastline forms part of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. Alternatively, get on your walking boots and follow the coast road to Ogmore-by-Sea which is popular with surfers all year round. If you'd like a day out at the shops, there is a designer outlet within 6 miles that boast shops, a food court, and a multiplex cinema - perfect for rainy days.

As you enter the property, you will find both the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground level. The first bedroom offers a king-size bed and has been designed to show off the cottages' original features. The second bedroom offers a triple bunk bed with a double bed at the base and a single top bunk - perfect for families with children of mixed ages or for those who'd like a bit more space. The bathroom can also be found on the ground floor with a shower over the bath, sink, and WC. The hallway corridor provides access to the garden and a small sunroom. Upstairs on the first floor, you will find your open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Although the room is of a generous size, it gives an overall feeling of cosiness. The lounge area includes a large sofa, plus a comfortable armchair centred around the Smart TV. The kitchen has been well equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, bean to cup coffee machine, and a fridge/freezer - everything you could need to prepare a good breakfast to set you up for the day or a family meal after a day of exploring the coastline. The dining area is made up of a beautiful old chemistry bench for guests to enjoy their meals from or to simply sit around, relax and enjoy board games together. There is a stable door leading off from the living area providing further access to the garden. Completing the first floor is a small reading nook and desk which is ideal if you need to work remotely while on your travels or simply need a good space to unwind with a book while looking out over the garden.

Outside, there is a garden at the first-floor level with access either from the lounge or from the ground floor via some steep external steps. The garden has a small patio area with outdoor furniture, a charcoal BBQ and lawn space to enjoy in the sunshine. Please be advised, due to the nature of the garden steps, it may not be suitable for small children. There is parking for one car in a designated bay in front of the property - additional street parking can be found in the village if required.
