Llangrannog Holidays |

Choose from a variety of accommodation to suit your stay

Based along the beautiful western Wales coastline, Llangrannog is set in stunning green country side and is hidden away by the hills that surround it. This little village is the home to about 800 people, half of which speak the Welsh language fluently. The combination of being almost invisible by sea and by land and the use of another language make Llangrannog seem as if it is in its own unique world. Llangrannog is well known to its thousands of visitors as a safe and tranquil holiday village, and why shouldn’t it be with only with two public houses, two small restaurants and one general store for bare essentials. Nowhere else can you find somewhere so remote and perfect for a peaceful holiday whilst still being so close to everything that the rest of Wales has to offer.

Accommodation on a Llangrannog holiday sets the scene for the rest of the vacation. Here at Stay In Wales we can offer everything in range and convenience from small self-catering romantic cottages to larger hotels for groups or families.

The Llangrannog countryside is waiting to be explored. The hills surround the area, meaning the village and the beach can be seen from all around. Travelling the area by foot is a must to take in all of the splendid views out to sea that the many viewpoints and hidden away benches look over. The higher ‘older’ part of the village is separated from the lower ‘newer’ section by a waterfall which falls in the heart of Llangrannog. Only here can you stumble upon a waterfall, surrounded in green shrubbery, right in the middle of a village.

Just outside the village lies the Urdd Centre. The centre offers much to do for locals and visitors alike. Predominantly a residential centre and hostel, the centre offers activity holidays, family holidays and summer camps. For holiday makers visiting the area, the Urdd centre can be visited for the day to make use of the renowned ski slope, pony trekking centre and the leisure centre with badminton courts, sports hall, astro turf and full size natural pitch. A childrens play area, go-karts and archery facilities are also available along with weekly fitness classes including yoga and boxercise.

The beach of Llangrannog is an award winning one, winning Seaside and Blue flags awards in recent years. Also, Cilborth beach is immediately north of Llangrannog and is reachable by cliff steps or from Llangrannog beach when the tide is low. This fantastic beach is sandy and secluded in a hidden cove. The beaches have a series of hidden caves and great rock pools to explore.

A many number of activities are available off these two beaches, most of which are suitable for the whole family. Surfing, rowing, sailing and windsurfing are all available. The nearby Ynys Lochtyn is a tiny peninsula off the coast and a great place to catch seals in the wild.
