New Quay Holidays |

Choose from a variety of accommodation to suit your stay

A trip to New Quay in Wales (not to be confused with the Cornwall resort) is a holiday to seaside paradise. Located on the nature lovers Cardigan Bay that hugs so many popular resorts, New Quay remains a top seaside resort with its large sandy beaches and harbour whilst still retaining its traditional fishing town charm.

A West Wales holiday includes so many opportunities to explore the whole country. Three large Areas of Outstanding Natural beauty all lay within driving distance of New Quay; Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to the South, Brecon Beacons National Park to the east and the Snowdonia National Park to the North. All of which provide beautiful countryside, romantic walks and adrenaline fuelled activities for the whole family.

Scattered throughout Wales are an unlimited number of theme parks, farms, activity centres, historical ruins and old buildings and museums. All with enough variety and range to offer a fun day out whatever the weather.

New Quay is the perfect place to stay whilst exploring all these places. Cottages, hotels and bed and breakfast rooms can be found throughout the town and the surrounding countryside. Some overlook the sea, some are hidden away in the hills but all of them offer something unique and the ability to go into New Quay itself to explore the beautiful town.

The key attractions for New Quay holiday makers include the picturesque harbour and the clean sandy beach. Lazy days can be spent here simply sunbathing, sipping cocktails and dining near the water’s edge. The town has a collection of shops to fulfil that shopping fix and restaurants for meals that match your mood. There is also a heritage centre and a marine wildlife centre to visit.

Yet the joys of New Quay don’t finish when the land does, through the harbour walls another world awaits that needs to be experienced to be believed. There is still a large fishing community in New Quay and regular boats take visitors and locals alike out onto the water to get involved themselves. Water sports like surfing and kayaking happen near the shoreline, and sailing (for beginners and people with their own boats) takes place further out.

The wildlife is also a big attraction in the area. Cardigan Bay is thought to be the home of Bottlenose Dolphins and seals, along with an abundance of birds. Trips out to find these animals take place regularly, and even if the animals do not come out to play then the scenery along the coast is worth seeing alone.

Accommodation on a New Quay West Wales holiday should be as inviting as the area itself so we offer rooms in hotels with play areas to let children burn off energy on a family holiday, or small cottages for romantic holidays where couples can relax in peace and quiet.
