We stayed in the Bull Pens over Christmas and had a fantastic time. The accommodation is first-rate. All of the rooms are large, and the decor is tastefully done and of a really good quality. It had been nicely decorated with a Christmas tree and lights so felt like we were in a magical place. The wood-burning stove allowed us to make the whole plaRead morece feel homely and was great as we played board games in the evening. The location is wonderfully remote but still near to Brecon. We spent a lovely weekend here as a 3 generation family. The cottage itself is lovely and set on a farmyard. Theres a lovely play area for children and walks locally to enjoy the beautiful views. The equipment in the kitchen is exceptional, stocking things like a slow cooker! The hot tub is an added benefit! A lovely stay.

Beautiful double cottage big enough for 8 people The hot tub isnt up to much but everything else was lovely. Kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Nice to have a table big enough for us all to eat. It really is remote. No take outs or pubs - no phone reception! Amazing views with the most awesome stars in the dark skies above.
