The views from this property are simply awe-inspiring and stretch 70 miles across the Wye Valley, the Hertfordshire countryside and Mid Wales. This handsome cottage will suit couples, families or friends who are looking to explore scenic trails, quaint villages and historic towns. The property is located approximately 4 miles from Hay-on-Wye which is famous for its independent bookshops. Here you will also find lots of boutiques, pubs, and restaurants to discover as well as a castle. Active guests will enjoy the numerous walking paths and bike trails that run close to the cottage too.

This property provides everything you would wish for in an 18th-century cottage. The comfortable lounge features cosy low ceilings with rustic oak beams, sofas to relax into after a long day out walking, a TV with DVD player, and a wood burner. There is a second lounge with a beautiful tiled floor, oak windows that frame fantastic views, a second wood burner, dining table, and a sofa bed if required. The country-style kitchen is modern with everything you will need to prepare a meal. Head upstairs from here to the three bedrooms, accessed through the first twin bedroom. You will find two twin rooms (one of which has two 2ft 6 beds which can be pushed together to make a 5ft double) and a double bedroom. The downstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over.

This cottage is set in an idyllic location that looks beautiful whatever the season and whilst many of the views can be admired from the inside of the house, the best views are always outside. The pretty garden of this property has picnic tables and benches overlooking the stunning countryside. Dine al fresco or simply sit, relax and soak up the scenery that stretches as far as the eye can see.

Find plenty of parking at the property but access is via the shared track which is a steep and fairly rough stone farm track, some drivers might prefer to park in the lower off-road parking area and walk up.
