The cottage was delightful. So peaceful and surprisingly spacious. Beautiful garden. It was a bit dated, but that added to the joy of our stay. Fabulous location! We had the most lovely time. Would recommend this wonderful cottage! Only one downside was the beds were not super comfy, however, we would still come back to stay!

Excellent base for exploring Wales in all directions. The house was equipped with everything you could need. The town of Talgarth very much like a step back in time and very peaceful. Highly recommended if you want a chill out break.

An absolutely wonderful traditional cottage, set in a beautiful location. The owner and manager of the cottage were so helpful through the whole process, they could not have done more for us. Thank you, we will be back!

This is a charming cottage with beautiful gardens in the pretty village of Talgarth. We were able to spread out into the various spaces - having a second reception as a TV room was very useful and we enjoyed playing cards in the dining room. The cottage garden is beautifully kept. Everything internally is in keeping with the age and style of the prRead moreoperty, but we enjoyed the feel of the place. Although older style the property has pretty much everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. Hide

Great location with walks and shops/pub/takeaway within a short walking distance from the house. Lovely private cottage garden to the rear and plenty of parking to the side. Property and furniture still has period features which was lovely to see and experience. All rooms are nice and spacious and great to have the log burner for colder days/nights

We had a great holiday at Hendre, very good value for a spacious house. Old fashioned on the inside but not a problem for us. Lovely garden for breakfast and dinner, in full bloom during our stay. Good location for the village shops (Pobl bakery was a highlight) and for the main roads.

A spacious house well equipped, we did expect a detached house from the pictures. There were areas of hygiene that could be improved. The gardens are very nice, we did have a small issue with neighbours children using the front garden for cricket practice! The road is quite noisy early am till late pm. It was nice to be able to walk to the local puRead moreb, and there are some good food shops in Talgarth. Hide
