This was an excellent base for visiting Aberystwyth and the surrounding area. The cottage was very comfortable. Out in the countryside with loads of wildlife around. Although steps up to the cottage from the car, the owner was happy to help with bags to/from the cottage (just ask).

This is in a lovely isolated location on a smallholding with sheep, goats, chickens all in view from the barn. You hear the goats reminding Jonathan that it is feeding time and see the pheasants waiting too! There are walks galore in the surrounding area for dogs off-lead, just avoid the sheep fields. We enjoyed our stay. Its a bit off the beaten track which is what we enjoy. The trundle down the 400m track from the lane was worth it to find a beautifully restored barn with lovely countryside views. Needless to say it was super peaceful with only bird song, sheep and horses for company.
