This wonderful former pub offers a unique opportunity for family and friends to spend some quality time together, with the opportunity to play pub landlord at the traditional bar on the ground floor. The pub is in the pretty village of Stoke Prior, 2.9 miles from the historic market town of Leominster. The town is well known for its rich history and well preserved medieval and Georgian architecture. Stoke Prior is surrounded by picturesque countryside with ample opportunity for scenic walks and getting back to nature. Enjoy a visit to Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum (4 miles), the only country park in Herefordshire. National Trust owned Berrington Hall is 5.6 miles away, an elegant Georgian mansion set within stunning gardens with landscaped parklands, a walled garden and lakeside walk. This fantastic property is a great choice for groups looking to spend some quality time together with easy access to serene countryside.

Make your way up the driveway into the grounds of the pub, which is in the heart of the village. The ground floor of the pub offers a unique living space which has the original bar for you to stock with your favourite drinks to enjoy. There are multiple seating areas, a large dining table to enjoy meals together and a Smart TV to enjoy a movie or catch up on your favourite TV show. One of the original features is the pub’s jukebox, which will be loaded up with credits for you to enjoy your favourite songs. On the cooler evenings, light one of the wood burners and relax on one of the comfortable sofas. Off the main living space is the stylish kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catered break. On the ground floor, there is a double room with log burner and access to a ground floor wet room with shower. There is also another useful WC on the ground floor. Head upstairs where you will find a further four bedrooms, three doubles and one bunk room. There is a spacious family bathroom with roll top bath and larger walk-in shower, ideal to refresh after a full day exploring the area.

The pub is set on one and a half acres of gardens that wrap around the property. There are multiple areas to sit and relax with friends and family with access to a large charcoal BBQ and firepit. Children can enjoy the trampoline and play equipment. The owners of the property live in a converted annexe on the top floor of the pub but they have separate access and total privacy is assured.

Fantastic property. We had a lovely weekend break with extended family. The property was super cosy with the log burner and having the bar was quirky and fun. Everyone had enough space for relaxing and eating together. Would definitely stay again
