This quaint, dog-friendly property, is located in the rural hamlet of Rhiwfawr, situated on the southwest borders of the magnificent Brecon Beacons (4 miles), and just 15 miles from the stunning coastlines of Swansea. Discover the natural beauty and captivating landscapes of the Brecon Beacons, with hiking and outdoor activities for all skill levels. Explore the Gower Peninsulas' stunning beaches, dramatic cliffs and charming villages, all under 30 miles away. Immerse yourself in the underground wonders of Wales at the National Showcaves Centre for Wales (4 miles), a fascinating adventure for visitors of all ages. Waterfalls are always a breath-taking experience, and you have seven to choose from located around Severn Sisters (9 miles).

A back door into the property takes you straight into the utility/boot room where you can slip off your walking boots and coats before stepping into the bright open-plan kitchen/dining room. Here you can prepare delicious meals using the well-equipped kitchen which includes modern appliances and all the necessary utensils and cookware. Savour your culinary creations while enjoying the views of the garden through the window. Moving through into the cosy living room, furnished with comfortable seating for snuggling up for a movie in front of the real log fire, this is a perfect space for unwinding after a day of explorations. As evening falls, head upstairs where you will find three relaxing and peaceful bedrooms with crisp linens, fluffy pillows, and plenty of storage for your belongings. Completing the property is the large, stylish, family bathroom, with a double shower and WC. There is also a separate downstairs WC for your convenience.

The cottage boasts a large lawned garden to the front which is fully enclosed, allowing everyone to play safely with only a few spectating sheep. Take in the morning fresh air sitting on the bench sipping your morning tea or coffee.

Once through the gate please take the pathway to the immediate left which will lead to the back door and boot room. Please avoid the second gate at the higher level as this involves steep steps which are unsafe during wet weather months.
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 3 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Loved our stay, such a cozy Christmas. Blustery walks on the nearby hills and Gower beaches (worth the drive). The house is solidly renovated with a lot of thought to make it comfortable.
