Shrewsbury is known for its well-preserved medieval town centre, characterized by timber-framed buildings, narrow streets, and historic landmarks such as Shrewsbury Castle and Shrewsbury Abbey. Staying in this beautifully appointed holiday let allows visitors to immerse themselves in the town's historic charm and explore its architectural heritage at their leisure. The town is situated on the banks of the River Severn, providing scenic riverside walks and opportunities for boating and river cruises. Explore the diverse range of shops, boutiques, and restaurants, which make it a great destination for shopping and dining. Shrewsbury is surrounded by picturesque countryside, including the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and exploring scenic trails in the surrounding countryside. Ironbridge (14 miles) and Church Stretton (13 miles) are also within easy reach. Enjoy the various cultural events throughout the year, including the Shrewsbury Flower Show, Shrewsbury Folk Festival, and Shrewsbury Food Festival.

This beautiful end-of-terrace townhouse has been lovingly renovated in 2023 to create a warm and relaxing space. Whilst the owners have been careful to retain the home’s original features, everything else has been transformed to enhance your comfort and maximise your downtime in Shrewsbury. Step into the living room and you’ll discover large Edwardian stained-glass windows complimented by a plush four-seater sofa, a suede tub chair and a Smart TV and sound bar. Decorated in calming tones and classic wood panelling, it feels intensely snug. The compact kitchen has all the holiday essentials for a self-catered break, allowing guests to get creative with meals. There is a separate dining room which has a rich, intimate feel with its thickly lined curtains and upholstered chairs. Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom has a super-king bed that can be separated into two single beds upon request. A Victorian-style nickel king-size bed dominates the second bedroom. Its VI-spring mattress rests high off the floor, and while it does feel blissful, it may be a little tall for some. On this floor you will also find the spacious bathroom, complete with large walk-in shower and separate bath. Luxury bedding, cotton bath towels, and bathmats are supplied along with complimentary toiletries.

The walled courtyard, accessed from the kitchen, is a suntrap and makes a pleasant spot for a morning espresso. From here you can enter the side road which leads to the private off-street car parking space approx. 70 metres away.
