This area in Snowdonia National Park is full of historic bridges, waterfalls, river pools and hill top lakes alongside the majestic mountains and dense woodland. Enjoy walking, climbing, kayaking, canoeing and cycling in breath-taking scenery. Visit Swallow Falls, Conwy Valley Railway Museum, Conwy Castle and National Trusts Bodnant Gardens. Take the challenges of Snowdon’s summit, Surf Snowdonia and Zip World Caverns. An all year-round destination for your holiday.

Open the gate in the walled garden and access the porch of this attractive property. The kitchen is well-equipped with Aga, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and lovely mountain views. If you decide to rustle up a meal with purchases from local suppliers, it is a lovely space to cook in and leads through to the spacious dining room with wood burner and wonderful views towards the lake. After dinner perhaps play a game of cards or go to the inviting lounge with a cosy wood burner and comfy sofas, perfect to relax with a good book, watch a film on the smartTV or embrace the view from the feature window. Up the stairs there are three welcoming bedrooms all with lovely views and smart TVs, choose from the double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, the double or the twin bedroom. In the morning take an invigorating shower in the shower room with WC before you head out for a day’s adventure.

Outside you will find the utility room with washing machine, sink and lots of drying space for your coats and boots. Unwind in the walled garden with pond, stream running through and vista gateways towards the mountains and lake. Enjoy al fresco dining, maybe a BBQ and relax at the table and chairs or head off to explore the 400 acres of national park and Crafnant Lake. With a permit, you can fish the lake, just a short stroll from the garden. If you are bringing your bike or canoe there is a lockable store available. Private parking for three cars is available at the property. The property is found a little after Llyn Crafnant (Crafnant Lake) with a variety of walks available to appreciate the full beauty of the area.

Amazing getaway with stunning views and plenty of walks. We loved our holiday, and would definitely return to this cottage. Its quite nice to have an enclosed garden, so that a little dog could enjoy a bit of the off-leash running around.

Absolutely stunning location. The long drive up the single track road may not be for everyone but there are passing places. Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Appreciated the one and cake on arrival! New WiFi system works brilliantly. Dog friendly garden Great walks from the doorstep. Highly recommend

Beautiful cottage is stunning surroundings. On the whole we loved our stay here, the surroundings are amazing, and the cottage was lovely. It was nice that the cottage was equiped with things such as tea, coffee, cleaning products, condiments etc.. Also, we were left a bottle of Prosseco and some cake as a welcome present which was nice. Our second stay in this lovely cottage in a fabulous location. We walked our two dogs around the lake and the grandchildren loved paddling there. Close to amenities, Conwy, Llandudno. Very narrow lane up to cottage but you get used to it. Internet dips in and out so this place is not for you if you need constant connection. A beautiful location and a truly stunning view. The cottage is very comfortable. The mobile signal is non-existent and the internet connection did not work at all the whole week. Unless it improves the property shouldn't be advertised as having it. Long single track road to access, not difficult but nervous drivers might want to avoid. The cottage is lovely and the location is stunning. The cottage is very well equipped and the rooms are a nice size. There was a welcome pack which was well appreciated. All in all a fabulous holiday, it was sad when we had to leave.

A wonderful cottage with views overlooking the lake, we had a fabulous holiday, 4 adults and 2 small terriers, who absolutely adored exploring the walled garden and watching the sheep in the adjoining grassy enclosed space. We, 3 adults and a small dog, really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is welcoming and in a superb location. The views are exceptional and the cottage is clean and tidy. Yes the track up to cottage is narrow however you get used to it. Just be prepared that your car does come in contact with the greenery. A gorgeous cottage in a beautiful location. The house was so homely and comfortable. Very clean with fantastic views of the lake. We went with our daughter and family. A wonderful location with 360 picture postcard views from the property. Would recommend walking from the property as there are many options. The long drive to the property from the main road is well worth the time as the location is stunning.

I would absolutely recommend Maes Mawr. It's the perfect place to disconnect from the busy lifestyles we lead. Stunning cottage, has everything you need and the views are faultless. Lovely walks right on your doorstep. We will definitely visit here again in the future.
